The Old Fujitsu Building

Sometimes you overlook the most obvious places to go and have a look round, this building is right on my doorstep but I never really got round to taking a closer look at it until now. Oddly enough I was reminded about it after it made an appearance on BBC One's Traffic Cops!

I can't find any information on this place, all I know is it has been empty ever since Fujitsu moved to a new building 5 minutes up the road from this one.

The building is owned by Dragon's Den star James Caan and is in a pretty sorry state now. Despite having a huge 'offices to let' sign on it the building is far from ready for new tenants. Thieves have stripped virtually every bit of metal that isn't holding the building up - surprising considering it is directly opposite the police station!

Sadly the local yobs have smashed most of the windows in this building now and 'travelers' have recently occupied the site.
